The Gateway Pacific Foundation, with support from the

Franklin and Catherine Johnson Foundation, is organizing

the Venture Capital University, a non-profit initiative,

to take place in Panama in December 2002.

The Young Americas Business Trust acts as a catalyst for

young entrepreneur development in the Americas and the Caribbean

through leadership, technology, and business education partnerships.

This briefing is an opportunity for Governments and business development

agencies to discuss how the Venture Capital University

can advance national strategies for economic development.
